Concession Captains
Lincoln athletic teams take turns running Concessions at every home athletic event. All profits help cover participation costs/fees for athletes who otherwise would not be able to participate. We have two roles to fill!
Concessions Buyer: Costco runs as-needed to keep Concessions stand stocked.
Concessions Scheduler: Someone up for scheduling team coverage per sports schedule.

Front Office Friends + Other Opportunities
Helping the Front Office staff at school can be a regular thing or a one-and-done proposition. It’s up to you and a great way to experience the culture of Lincoln at the start and end of each day. New dates and other last-minute opportunities are added weekly here. And a few more career-related options here.
Health Action Network (HAN)
Pre-pandemic, a group of Lincoln parents curated monthly talks to bring health awareness, tools and strategies to students and families, providing support and information on topics like drugs & alcohol, bullying, sex, suicide, mental health, stress, nutrition, etc. Have any interest in helping bring HAN back? We would love a lead curator and welcome any experts in our community to offer a topic and talk. Contact Lauren Holden Kilbane at [email protected].
Friends of Lincoln Board
The Friends of Lincoln Board is a mix of parents and alums board members who manage responsibilities to support fundraising and volunteer opportunities to support and enrich the education of Lincoln high school students and teachers. We help fund teacher positions and support students, from meeting basic human needs to providing technology and covering fees for those who would otherwise not be able to participate. We also build community connection and caring through a broad range of volunteer efforts. Are you interested in learning more? Contact Mary Ann Walker, Board President, at [email protected].
West Sylvan Students Need Bikes
Have a bike your student has outgrown or otherwise collecting dust in the garage? West Sylvan has a growing group of students whose families have no transportation options beyond public transit. Bikes are one way to support these students so they can more easily get to and from school/activities and relieve some stress on their families. Contact Becky Seidel at [email protected].
Wrestling Volunteers
Lincoln will be hosting some big wrestling tournaments in our new building. Contact Jennifer O'Dell Sample, Team Parent at [email protected] if you have an interest in helping.
Complete a Background Check for In-School Support
To ensure a safe environment for all students, PPS requires volunteers to apply for a volunteer background check for in-school support. Background checks are valid for 3 years and do not transfer from school to school. Please take a minute to complete a PPS volunteer background check or update your volunteer status if you have not done so recently.
